Corrections in the Face

The repercussions of accidents, previous operations and other illnesses, but also congenital malformations can cause disfigurations of the face which call for intricate corrective surgery of the skin, soft tissues or bones, not uncommonly in several stages. What prospective patients take exception to in most cases, however, occasionally also in functional terms, are conspicuous scars, deficient contours or asymmetries in the face. Plastic surgery offers a great number of options for improving these hardly concealable conspicuities in the face. It is not uncommon that considerable improvements can be achieved with minor operations dedicated to correcting scars.
